A friend lent me this book about 20 years ago. But, once my wrist was better I craved my typical practice. My favorite yoga book yet!
It was “out of date” then as far as clothing and semantics, but I still like it better than the “flow” type yoga so richagd today. Lists with This Book.
I practiced, at an abbreviated rate, all previous exercises to make sure I could still complete them. I’d caution beginners to look the triangle pose up on the internet to avoid putting too much stress on the knees. In time it went and came 4 times, and I tryed to start again with yoga. He also touches upon how one should eat for sustained energy.

I was able to do a head stand after only 28 days of practice which is amazing considering my head stand phobia, lol. Each day is followed by ‘thoughts for the day,’ and there’s a funny, dated bit about being a housewife and still deserving to spend time on yourself. I and my sisters followed it religiously… although there were few excercises I could not do properly because of heavy weight but it still worked for me…I was so happy and this book is like a treasure to our family….
It also contains important pointers on preparing for your practice. This was the first introduction I had to yoga. The title of the second series was “Yoga and Meditation.
This is the book I’ve been looking for. And I think this adorable timeless little book from my favorite year in history will help me get into a routine. This book is a gem! The more you do the exercises the easier they become and the strong you become. You can barely see it in the photo. This article has multiple issues.
