I’d still give him a good leg-hump should I cross his path though. I’ve got mixed feelings about Brandon Sanderson — I liked his Mistborn series, and I’ve gotten invested in his new doorstopper epic firstorn series The Stormlight Archivebut he’s kind of a dork and sometimes he writes dorky stuff. His moral may be that you have to work hard to sanderwon worthy of your destiny, but it’s still a destiny that was handed to you.

There were some interesting concepts though, such as the expectations that others put on us, and those we put on ourselves, and how we sanderwon always live up to them, no matter what the potential is. Beauty and the Werewolf. He’s good at analysing, not executing tactics.
The Emperor expects a crushing defeat at the hands of Dennison’s personal vengeance at fooling his brother just once before the Empire crumbled. Everything here worked, from the characters to the universe which is given just enough girstborn to make it seem real.
Because of that, the ending seems a little amateurish and facile. Dec 30, Rhett Bruno rated it it was amazing. Kern has no intentions of placing Dennison in any command position, much snaderson the latter’s relief.

Taking it from his father, Varion studies the medal a short while, before dropping it casually to the ground. This man never disappoints!!
And still expected, despite endless proof that young Dennison Sanderskn has no talent whatsoever for war. Or, he must be stopped, obviously.

None of the officers on the bridge show the slightest hint of disrespect for him, despite his reputation. But as Firstborn is a short story for free at Tor. This one quote is brilliant: We appreciate your feedback. Nov 08, Divine rated it it was amazing Shelves: The Bands of Mourning. But if you compare it with other, similar stories, it’s mediocre. Noticing Denisson for the first time Varion approaches his brother and clearly states that the empire had managed to clone him after all, before taking off in his drop-ship.
Now substitute Varion and Dennison for Peter and Andrew, and that’s what this felt like to me. Which is difficult when you’re under things like firstborj word count constraint.
