In his writings, Feuchtwanger exposed Nazi racist policies years before the British and French governments abandoned their policy of appeasement towards Hitler. Having spent my semester abroad in Madrid, and a good part of it in the Prado Museum, I wanted to read more.
This book is so much to me, I feuchywanger it, I loved reading it, I love thinking about it still and I have to read it again really soon!
