Like Robert Monroe’s work this is an important book on the subject lelqnd out of body experiences. However, like Ultimate Journey, it is probably a little bit ahead of its time. So many things I have been wondering about for so long explained very well.

They love to read about other people’s adventures in altered states of consciousness. Some who are considerably new to this form of experience may be tempted to ,eland the legitimacy of these experiences that are ever increasing in clarity, detail, and potency. How to Experience Out-of-Body Travel.

Both are truly mind-expanding reads. I looked at others of the books on the list, and most of them seemed to be little more than a collection of experiences people had while out of body.
As a final note, another book that might interest a would be traveler lelahd a compliment to this one is Robert Bruce’s “Mastering Astral Projection”, which is more of a technical manual on how to trigger the experience, whereas “Otherwhere” is more a guide for the experiences themselves.
Another reviewer cited an excellent passage in the book on his experience in consciousness as a blade of grass as an illustration for the purpose of existing in the physical world. Okay, this is plausible, but what about when I communicate with spirit? I found it inspiring and encouraging.
